2 Years On Celebration & Awards followed the progress of Talent Match Black Country (TMBC) now celebrating its second year of outstanding achievements. The event realised its aim of showcasing, celebrating and awarding the successes of TM Young People, partners, mentors and employers.

OD&V supported TMBC in the planning and delivery of the evening event professionally hosted by Talent Match friend, Sameena Ali-Khan of ITV Central, who did a fantastic job ensuring proceedings and award ceremony ran smoothly.

The over 160 attendees heard from TMBC Chair, Professor Ian Oakes who was joined on stage by 2015 Brightest Star, Omari Thomas and Helen Scurr of Ark People and Communities before the much anticipated awards ceremony featuring 5 categories and 8 winners – attendees had the opportunity to vote live via online voting app Sli.do for the biggest winner of the evening.

The delivery of this ‘silver star’ themed, ‘glam’ event was supported by 8 commercial sponsors all of whom had a presence in the exhibition space alongside the 5 TMBC delivery hubs who also provided live entertainment throughout the evening. Plans are already underway for next year’s event, scheduled for October 12th 2017.
