Nearly 400 businesses attended Worcestershire LEP's Seventh Annual Conference, the sixth consecutive one organised by Opening Doors & Venues. The Conference, which has grown its reputation as one of Worcestershire's biggest business event, was hosted by BBC Midlands Today presenter Mary Rhodes, while high-profile keynote speaker, Dave Coplin, provided expert knowledge on how local businesses can achieve the full potential that technology has to offer.
The conference brought together local companies and organisations in a vibrant exhibition area, enabled delegates to share opinions via live voting and recognised young talent by providing local Apprentice Winners the opportunity to share their story and by incorporating musical interludes from the Worcestershire Youth Jazz Orchestra. Elements such as a pre-conference breakfast session with speakers from innovative Worcestershire-based healthrelated businesses and the Recognition Awards which concluded proceedings, added diversity to the half-day conference. To keep momentum going, a variety of videos, animations and on-the-sofa͛ interviews were incorporated into the programme.
OD&V, together with selected partners and suppliers, managed the overall planning process and, amongst others, led on programme design, technology implementation for badging and scanning, communications with delegates, speakers, sponsors, exhibitors and all external suppliers, and managed the full on-the-day production.
