The concept of ‘team’ is integral to how we work with each other, our clients and suppliers because, when it comes to it, we all have one single objective and that is to deliver an outstandingly successful conference or event.
Rose Padmore - PCO & Project Manager
With a background in sales, marketing and PR, a lifelong involvement in amateur theatre production and a passion for communication, Rose, who founded OD&V in 2000, prides herself on an accurate planning process and the detailed follow-through of all projects large or small. She has an energy and enthusiasm of above average capacity and the recognised ability to motivate others... Just ask her friends and colleagues!
Madalina Marincas - Project Administrator
While studying Event Management in Birmingham, Madalina had the opportunity to work with Rose for OD&V often, which ‘opened the door’ to the conference industry. Now a proud full-time member of the team she grasps how much of her professional development is owed to OD&V. Living for the world of events, Madalina holds a Master with Distinction in Marketing for Events, was a passionate 2012 Olympics Games Maker, enjoys sport and the out-doors, and has a keen interest in organising... everything (mainly others!)
OD&V has a 'Little Black Book' and these guys have supported Rose at a number of events so they know the ropes. Plus they're energetic, reliable, fun and very good at their jobs! OD&V also turns to the support of Event Management students from University College Birmingham, a pool of enthusiastic and knowledgeable professionals-to-be.
Jackie is the office manager of Wassell Grove, the OD&V home, and is always available to provide accurate administrative support of any kind whatsoever. She willingly works weekends and late nights when necessary for last minute event preparations and has attended small events to run the registration desk. Jackie has managed the business centre for over 8 years and is another one who does more things in her ‘spare’ time than I care to mention but includes looking after her grandchildren, chairing 2 governing bodies and doing the books for a small local business.
Sarah Brooks - Hands-on Event Support
With over 20 years experience in sales and marketing roles in a number of industry sectors, Sarah works with OD&V when we need an extra pair of hands. Sarah is our Exhibitor Co-ordinator before, during and after each event. She will be on hand during set up and breakdown to solve problems to ensure you have everything you need for a successful exhibition. Outside of work, she loves hiking and camping in the mountains of Brecon, Snowdon and the Peak District, Nordic Walking and baking. When not under canvas, Sarah is actively involved with a number of business networking groups supporting small business owners to develop and build their businesses via social media and traditional marketing.
Stella Broster - Marketing & PR Consultant
