6th of July 2016  - Duckworth Suite, Sixways Stadium, Worcester

This 6 to 9pm free to attend event organised with full operations, content and logistical support from Opening Doors & Venues, attracted 60 governors, heads and parents keen to network with their peers and engage with the specialist panel to address the growing interest concerning current shifts in the education sector, more specifically relating to the implications of the MAT adoption model.

The evening kicked off with a buffet and refreshments, followed by an introduction to WAG delivered by WAG Chair, Malcolm Richards. Speakers and panellists included Professor Chris James, University of Bath Professor of Educational Leadership and Management, Deputy Chief Executive of the National Governors’ Association, Gillian Allcroft and Kate Brunt, CEO of Rivers C. of E. Academy Trust, Worcestershire’s first Multi Academy Trust. The short presentations were followed by an extended 1 hour Question Time, the main attraction of the event, when pre-submitted and questions from the floor were asked of the extensive panel.
